Black Member Party
The PokerStrategy relationship is fundamental to PartyPoker and PartyGaming... It has been a long term relationship and I look forward to continuing that long-term relationship. I had a wonderful evening last night.
It is a unique opportunity to have some of the best poker players in Germany in one spot dissecting a product - it is phenomenal... I think we will get more input here, from this group of individuals, than we would get in many months internally by actually doing surveys with customers.

Excapsa Software Inc.

tend to no limit to sit and goes I like to play the 109 level. I like
the speed, so if I can get in and out and can play a lot of games in a
half an hour I'm pretty happy guy. It is an awful lot of fun although
but I'm not consistent. I'm too emotional. So heads up is a dangerouse
place to be for me.
I would say I'm logging about 10 hours a week. So I am not playing
anywhere near the extent of the PokerStrategy member. I have
historically played between 10 to 20 hours a week. I'm actually a
winning player it's been taken me many years to get there. I'm not
as talented as some of these young guys floating around here but I love
the game. So yes I play online poker regularly. And that's my hobby.
That's what I do for fun.
Actually I launched the Cryptologic network in 2003 that was my
introduction to poker transition through a couple of other poker
networks. I have probably made justt about every mistake you can as it
relates to network management and when you make a mistake you learn and
look forward to taking some of my learnings with what I think is a
pretty great team and got some phenomenal input from the player
community and making PartyPoker much better.Recognizing some of our past
mistakes and improving upon those and continue to listen to the players.
So I am the poker player. Party Gaming is new to me. I am more than a
poker player, I have actually a passion for the game something that I've
played all my life. What's fascinating about this: My job actually is my
hobby so when I sit down with the PokerStrategy members I can have a
sensible and logical discussion where we can kind of both challenge an
issue and learn. So taking the learnings from this trip we have got John
O'Malia our managing Dir. and CEO . Andreas Heartman, product leadership
with regards of poker. We have got Moshi Davidovich, who was the product
team manager. We got all our poker expertise here with the stated
intention of getting great ideas from the PokerStrategy members and
developing our products. It's all about product leadership, taking care
of our customers and I honestly believe when we do that in the mid-or
long-term then we are going to see party poker back in the great
Heights of once before.
Feedback from players is everything. You can't develop this products on
isolation. It is the fourth poker network I have worked with. And
frankly speaking if we take a look of some of parties history we come
from the position of being the largest player in the market holding over
40% of the market. When you do that people will come to you just because
of liquidity.
The world has now changed, we have moved out of the US. We now hold some
of our between 8-9% of the market. It's vital that we change the way
we're behaving and it's vital that we have player input in terms of
helping us take our product to the next level. Because there is many to
compete with and we want be at the top of the hill.
The PokerStrategy relationship´s and of party poker and party gaming,
it's been a long-term relationship and I look forward to continuing that
long-term relationship. I just met many of the people from poker
strategy at this event. And I had a wonderful evening last night
debating an awful lot of the attributes of the party poker areas some of
the things we're missing and some of the network strategies With Dominik
and frankly what I look forward to, given that we were both located in
Gibraltar, is not only having the business relationship and extending
that to the long-term but just having the ability to just sit down and
have a good business discussion and have a discussion about the product
and our strategy. And our interest and PokerStrategys interests are
totally align. You can't have a better focal point for any partnership
than that. Nothing but good things to happen for both of us on the
long-term.
A unique opportunity to have some of the best poker players in Germany
in one spot, dissecting the product; it's phenomenal! We will do that
all day long, day after day, if the opportunity presents itself. I think
we will get more info here from this group of individuals than we would
get in many months doing surveys with customers. So the ability to
leverage people who play poker for a business in a two day session is
something we're thrilled to be able to partaken.
If we take a look at the German component of the market very talented we
see the same thing in the Swedish component and these tend to be net
winners. Our job working with PokerStrategy is bringing new players into
the ecology, train them, get them coached and get them into an
intermediate player and frankly speaking we also have to provide an
ecology that does allow the sophisticated player to thrive and gives the
new player the opportunity to get their feet underneath them and learn a
little bit more. We will continue to attract the masses and I think we
will be very appealing to the German player base.
It's interesting if we take a look at poker players preferences and
especially those who play poker for a living: They will play at multiple
platforms. I don't think anybody on our organization expects that that
will change. Our job is actually to provide a liquid environment with
great technology, a great poker product and make sure that were on their
list of one of the platforms to play and to start with.
If we do our job right and create the right liquidity levels for them
and bring in the right players that play more on our site than anywhere
else. I think you have to actually segment the player base when
evaluating the concept of poker players win more on PartyPpoker than
anywhere else. So if we take a look at the high-end players: What we are
effectively saying to the high-end players is that we've created a very
liquid, perhaps fishy environment for you. And why is that the case:
It´s because we acquire players on the mass-market and, going back to my
point earlier,it is we've got this casual fun brand, our marketing
programs are pretty widely dispersed and they are targeted to the
mainstream market.
So we're bringing in the novice to intermediate players. So for a
high-end player the ability to win at party poker is increased.I like
the fact that the new table is fresh and clean I like to see the ability
to scroll, use a scrolling, a feature to make bets. I think the ability
to set bets increase the wager or wager a half the pot, 3/4 of the pot
or using the scrolling feature has made that much easier.I like to
customize seating feature. I don't know how to explain it to you but I
like the same seat and I like the fact that I can programm that. There is
a number of Other personal preferences that you can program. That's one
thats important to me and you get the table that automatically rotates
and I like to sit in the bottom right-hand corner of the table close to
where I bet. That makes my ability to move and bet and be more efficient
as I play poker. Those are my favorites so far, I be frank I'm still
working my way through the number of features. It's still early days and
the to learning more.
The coolest thing about the new loyalty system, well I can tell you what
isn´t cool: It isn´t cool that it´s still not launched. The coolest
thing about the new loyalty system is that we are keeping it simple. We
made it very complicated for the players - we are sorry - but we have
recognized the error of our ways, we are going to keep it simple. We are
going to reward you for being there. And stay tuned. A lot of more is to
come as we work our way through the fall season.
